Mommy MD Guide to Pregnancy and Birth Review and GIVEAWAY!! **ENDED**

I no longer have to worry about the wonders of pregnancy and childbirth, but I know I relied heavily on pregnancy and childbirth books when I was pregnant with both of my children.  I wish I would have had access to The Mommy MD Guide to Pregnancy and Birth when I was pregnant. The book, which retails for $17.95, is filled with tips from 60 doctors, who also happen to be mothers.

The book is organized into 43 chapters, one for each week of pregnancy plus chapters on the actual birth. Each chapter begins with a section on how big your baby is now, your baby's developments for the week, and your developments for the week. In addition, chapters focus on different topics throughout the book such as dealing with aches and pains, deciding whether or not to determine the sex of the baby, buying baby clothes, and more. There are also really nice tips on when you should call your doctor, something I know I struggled with often when I was pregnant.

This book is truly fantastic. It covers everything and anything and is truly a great guide for an expectant mom! I loved the way it was organized.  The tips that are included in the book are nicely organized and there are a lot of quotes from the contributing physicians. I liked how it was not all just medical information, but also practical and fun!  It was nice that the book would direct you to where you could buy a product if it was recommending one. This book would have been a permanent fixture on my nightstand if I was pregnant and I am sure you will not be disappointed.
