Travel Must Have: Episencial Sunny Sunscreen Review and GIVEAWAY!! **ENDED**

Eric Carle is my favorite children's book author. When my children were babies, we would read "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and "The Very Busy Spider" daily.  So, when I saw the children's skincare products created by Episencial, I was smitten! Epinsencial products were developed by a mother who is a second generation skin care expert and passionate environmental advocate. Eric Carle's vibrant artwork inspired her line of healthy skincare created with babies, kids, and the planet in mind.

Episencial products are:
- professional quality at a great price
- baby safe for the most sensitive skin
- immunity enhancing with doctor recommended, clinically safe formulas
- free from harsh chemicals
- scented with fruit juice extracts, not fragrances
- made with all natural ingredients and lots of organics
- packaged in recycled materials
- manufactured under solar power

I was lucky enough to receive a bottle of Sunny Sunscreen to try. The 4oz bottle retails for $14.99, is SPF 35, and is water resistant. In addition to providing sun protection, the product nourishes and hydrates with green tea extract.

From Episencial: According to the Environmental Working Group database of ingredients for personal care products (http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com), our all-natural formula has among the highest safety ratings for ingredients that target sun damage and prevent sun-induced heat rash.  For battling sun exposed skin, dehydration and oil-dry symptoms, our Sunny Sunscreen (SPF 35) is the best defense for babies tender skin. Plus it melts into your skin - leaving no thick white residue or greasy feeling.  We know you and your children will fall in love.

Review: My first thought was that I absolutely adore the packaging on this product. My kids immediately recognized the image and realized that this was their sunscreen. When I first went to apply the sunscreen to my kids, I thought that it looked watery and I was concerned that it would be really oily. This was not the case. There is a milkier texture to this product, but it applied quite nicely and did not leave streaks all over my children and rubbed in easier than other products on the market. My daughter and I have very sensitive skin, so I was very pleased that neither of us had a negative reaction to the product. We went swimming with the product on and none of us experienced any burns, so it did prove to be effective and water resistant. I also enjoyed the smell.
